CHICAGO – Due to weather in the Chicagoland area Friday, the UIC's home-opener series against Northern Kentucky has been adjusted.
 
The series opener, originally scheduled for Friday, March 18, has been postponed and will be made up as a doubleheader on Sunday, March 20.
 
Action at Granderson Stadium will now begin on Saturday, March 19, with the Flames and Norse set for a 2 p.m. first pitch. The series will conclude with a doubleheader on Sunday, with first pitch of Game 1 slated for 12 p.m. Game 2 of the twinbill will take place approximately 30 after the conclusion of the first game.
