SCOUTING AUSTIN PEAY
- This will be the second all-time matchup between the Flames and Governors with the previous matchup taking place in 2022, going the way of the Flames in a 62-59 victory in the Hostilo Hoops Community Classic in Savannah, GA.
- The Governors took on a difficult Evansville side on Sunday, only getting a narrow lead at half with 20-point fourth quarter secured the victory against the Aces, winning 63-57.
- Sophomore Anovia Sheals led the team in scoring with 16 and was second in rebounds with nine. Sheals is just a point shy of 100 this season, being the team's leading scorer on the year, averaging 14.1 points a game.
- Forming a powerful duo with Sheals, junior Veronaye Charlton shoots 49% from the field and 47% from beyond the arc, being one of the dangers on this Governors' offense.
LAST GAME RECAP – VS DEPAUL

- UIC earned its first win against the Blue Demons since 1981, snapping their 36-game winning streak.
- Redshirt-sophomore Julia Coleman scored a career-high 29 points, grabbed eight rebounds and collected a pair of blocks.

- Coleman and Carrothers 20-plus point outings marked UIC's first 20-point scoring duo since Taylor Toney (26) and Brittany Byrd (21) led a 67-51 victory over Purdue- Fort Wayne on Nov. 21, 2017.
